Event Manager (part time)

We have openings for a part time, mid-level Event Manager / Freelancer to assist with our upcoming events from April – August 2024. Potential for ongoing work.

About the role

​

• Programming of event schedules, building runsheets

• Liaison with talent & stakeholders

• Coordination of performance necessities

• Guest liaison

• Onsite event management

• Contracting & sales support

• Some social media and newsletter preparation

• Immediate start until end of June, with some 

• flexible role of 20 - 30 hours per week, may be able to fit in with your other commitments.
   

About Us

Lemongrass Productions has been responsible for some of the biggest food, drink and entertainment events in New Zealand. In 2024 this line-up will include Winetopia events in Auckland and Wellington, Tohunga Tūmau, Restaurant Month in the Heart of the City, A Very Tasty Christmas Market and private events for our clients. We have amassed a great community who look forward to our events. Qualifications & experience required

​

• Event Management experience

• Relevant event sales experience

• Excellent written and oral English and attention to detail

• Knowledge of restaurant and wine industry will be helpful

• Familiar with Te Ao Maōri

• Great phone manner

• Team player, but able to work effectively unsupervised

• Account management expertise
